Frankie’s Story: From Havana to Houston & Beyond
Frankie grew up in a lively neighborhood in Havana, Cuba, where his passion for baking was born in his grandmother’s kitchen. She taught him that every pastry was a labor of love, crafted with care and shared with joy. Inspired by her wisdom, Frankie apprenticed under local bakers, mastering the art of Cuban classics made with fresh, organic ingredients—handpicked guava, aromatic cinnamon, and buttery, flaky dough.
When Frankie moved to Houston, he carried not just his recipes but the heart and soul of Cuban flavors. From a small kitchen, he began crafting his signature pastelitos, panetela borracha, and other beloved treats, each bite a celebration of his heritage.
For Frankie, baking is more than a skill—it’s his way of connecting with others, sharing his culture, and spreading joy through food. “Every pastry tells a story,” he says, “and mine is a story of Cuba, community, and love.
